Jenna Janso – Primary Therapist

Jenna Janso is a compassionate psychotherapist who blends evidence‑based modalities with a whole‑person, trauma‑informed philosophy to help clients break free from substance use and co‑occurring mental‑health challenges. As a Licensed Social Worker, she draws on advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and crisis‑intervention techniques to guide adults, teens, couples, and families toward lasting recovery and renewed resilience.

Jenna earned her Master of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh, completing the Integrated Healthcare Certificate to strengthen the bridge between medical and behavioral‑health services. Earlier, she graduated from Elon University with a dual B.A. in Psychology and Communications, grounding her clinical expertise in both human behavior and effective client communication.

Before joining Legacy Healing Center’s addiction treatment team in Parsippany, Jenna served in hospital and outpatient settings as a Social Work Case Manager and therapist, honing her skills in comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, and coordinated care.

At our center she manages a diverse caseload, offering individual, group, and family sessions that address anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance‑use disorders. Clients appreciate her strengths‑based approach, which empowers them to uncover inner resources, build coping strategies, and reclaim purposeful, healthy lives.
